About Me

Hi. I'm Crystal, a Malaysian Indian Christian, living in a small town with my mom. In 2024, my mom lost her battle with cancer. Continuing to write was how I coped with my grief.

In my blog, I turn the rambling thoughts in my head into long-winded tales of my weight loss journey, people struggles, guilty pleasures, my mom, my views about love and romance, my quirks and prudish disposition, and overall strange personality.

I have no illusions of being a good writer, but I enjoy writing, and my blog is the outlet for all the thoughts that are constantly in my head.

If you happen to visit my blog and read my rambling tales, I hope you're not tortured by them but find them entertaining. Although sometimes I read back all the cringe-worthy things I have written and wince, wishing my thoughts would stop embarrassing me.

I'm sorry I don't have uplifting words of wisdom that will fill you with hope, inspire you, or help you lead better lives.

My aim is simple: to add a little cheer as I share tales of my life. That if nothing else, even if I'm a little nuts, at least I made you smile... though I realize my sense of humor may be considered quirky at best, bizarre at worst... Some may even place it under the "what is wrong with you" category.

I apologize in advance for all the times you had to facepalm yourself with what I've written or had the urge to scream "make it stop!" while clutching your head or, in this case, your eyes, in agony.

I may write or say things that may be considered weird and have a very prudish view of things... as well as being clueless and socially awkward... and feel there's something wrong with me because of my lack of "crush" on anyone I've met... It's not an act... I really am all that... I'm not apologizing for it, but hopefully, one day I'll catch up to the 21st century... or even better, catch up to my age instead of being the perpetual teen, maturity-wise.

Sorry though if I inadvertently said anything that caused offense or hurt anyone's feelings.
